- The slip stitch at the end of each round goes into the first stitch of that round
How to Crochet a Petal (Popcorn Stitch)
- Do 5 treble crochets into the same stitch.
- Remove your hook from the loop (you can hold it on your finger to keep it from unraveling).
- Insert your hook into the first treble crochet made.

Crochet Flower Keychain Pattern
Flower Center
Foundation: With your flower center color yarn, make a magic ring or make a slipknot, ch4, sl st to 1st ch to form a ring
Round 1: ch2, dc10 into ring, sl st, fasten off (10)

Flower Petals
Attach your flower color yarn to any stitch in Round 1.
Round 2: ch3, PC around, sl st, fasten off (10 PC)

Finishing Back
Repeat Foundation and Round 1, but fasten off with 25 centimeter (10″) long loose end.

Stuff the loose ends into the flower. Sew the second flower center to Round 2. Before you finish sewing, make sure the magic rings are closed and tie the loose ends together, so the magic rings don’t open back up. Finish sewing and tie a knot to secure the seam. Hide the loose ends by pulling them into the middle of the flower.

Attaching Keychain Clasp (Optional)
Attach the keyring through the outside of both flower centers and in between any two petals. Use pliers or tweezers to make it easier.
