Mini Crochet Star Appliqué | Free Pattern & Video Tutorial
This mini crochet star pattern works up in just a few minutes, making it a great first project for beginners! They can also be used as part of a larger project like a blanket or scarf. Because this pattern was written to be easy to memorize, you can quickly make a lot of these little stars!

Choosing Colors
If you’re making a lot of these stars, a tip I love is to use self-striping yarn. You can separate the yarn into different colors and make a star with each color. Now, you have a lot of different colors from buying just one skein of yarn and all the colors will go well together.

Notes and Tips
- This pattern is written using US crochet terms
- The number in (parentheses) at the end of each round is the stitch count after finishing that round
- The chain 1 at the beginning of each round does NOT count as a stitch
- The slip stitch at the end of each round goes into the first stitch of that round
- The first stitch of every new round goes into the same stitch we slip stitched to in the previous round
